Scotch® 1617 adheres excellently to iron and steel and is resistant to all weather conditions, UV radiation, moisture, temperatures up to 500 °C, alkaline solutions and mineral oils. It is the ideal primer for metal constructions and meets DIN 50967 (zinc content) and DIN 53167 (corrosion resistance) standards.
