Product highlights

The EXBA18V-80 high-performance Expert battery delivers up to 120% more runtime, providing exceptional levels of continuous work even in tough applications (compared to GBA 18V 4.0Ah Professional; data from internal laboratory tests; mild steel grinding with GWS 18V-15 S + flap disc, intervals of 30 s with breaks of 5 s). It uses advanced tabless cell technology, providing maximum power up to 2,400 W (data from internal laboratory tests; instant maximum power, fully charged, new battery). With its reinforced robust housing, excellent heat management with COOLPACK 2.0 and tabless cell technology, the EXBA18V-80 offers a long service life, making it ideal for professionals who rely on robustness and performance. The ultra-fast charger EXPERT EXAL18V-160 takes just 39 minutes to fully charge an EXBA18V-80 battery, thanks to a 16A charging current. Intelligent Active Air Cooling 2.0 cools batteries effectively and FlexTemp Charging extends the battery temperature range for charging EXPERT batteries from -10°C to +55°C. Both features reduce downtime by allowing hot batteries to start charging quickly, even after heavy applications. Furthermore, FlexTemp Charging also makes it possible to charge cold batteries.

Equipment and application

The EXBA18V-80 features a 5-LED display that indicates charging status with remaining capacity and defect risk detection. The mobile ultra-fast parallel charger also has 5 LEDs for accurate charging indication. This ultra-fast charger features three charging modes: Standard, Power Boost and Long Life. The modes can be activated with the charging mode button depending on your needs. Power Boost mode is the right choice when the battery needs to be fully charged at the highest charging speed. Choose Long Life mode for more gentle full charging to extend battery life. Both are compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System and batteries from AMPShare, the multi-brand battery alliance.

Additional information
