Product description:
FRAME SCREW VZ CK WHS TX-30 7.5X182
Characteristics:
The frame screw is used, without using a plug, to fasten window and door frames directly into solid masonry or concrete.
Frame screws are versatile; for example, you can also join two window frames with these screws.
The frame screw has a cylindrical small flat head and is made of hardened steel that is zinc-plated.
Due to the TX drive, these screws are easy to handle with a cordless screwdriver.
It is recommended to pre-drill these screws 6.0 mm, the drilling depth is the total screw-in depth plus 10 mm.
You can calculate the required screw length by: the frame width + the distance to the wall + screw-in depth.
In hard materials such as concrete, 30-40 mm screw-in depth is already sufficient, and in softer substrates such as sand-lime brick or lightweight concrete, 50-60 mm screw-in depth is desirable for secure mounting.
Frame screws are also called concrete screws or stone screws.
