• The C copolymer is more resistant to hydrolysis, strong bases and thermo-oxidative degradation than the homopolymer.
• Main characteristics: high mechanical strength, stiffness and hardness, very high resilience, good creep resistance, high impact resistance even at low temperatures, very high dimensional stability, good sliding properties and wear resistance, excellent machinability, physiologically inert (suitable for food contact), not self-extinguishing.

Applications:

• Ertacetal is particularly recommended for the manufacture of precision mechanical parts and lends itself well to machining on automatic lathes.
• Lids and caps for the industrial graphics sector.
• Profiles and parts to replace wear parts in metal.
