Tips & Tricks:
The toothpick trick:
To prevent the glue from extending beyond the surface to be glued, insert a toothpick into the glue line and press firmly.
The toothpick ensures the correct height and prevents the glue from spreading.
Try it!
Cleaning using playing cards
When you have finished gluing: take a playing card, bend it slightly and scrape with it along the edges of the glued object and surface to scrape away excess glue.
It is the best way to remove glue residue.
Very easy!
How much glue do I need?
To ensure a perfectly strong bond, we recommend using between 200 and 400 grams of Pattex per square metre.
Better control
If you are using a tube, it is a good idea to cut off the nozzle with triangular pliers to give it a V-shaped edge.
This will give you more control over the glue when you apply it.
For non-porous materials:
For poorly absorbent materials (e.g. Metal or glass), it is best to clean the surfaces with a damp cloth before applying the glue.
You only need to apply a thin layer of glue to a surface.
For porous materials:
When bonding porous materials that absorb a lot (e.g. Wood), you will need more adhesive.
Use with paint:
Pattex One for ALL can be used on painted surfaces.
Can be used without problems on acrylic paints, PU varnishes and alcyd varnishes.
Not suitable for application on 1-component PU paints.

Step-by-step instructions:
1. Before applying the adhesive, ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free of grease and wallpaper.
2. If using a tube: open it with a cutter, then attach the nozzle and cut open to the desired width.
Then place the tube in the gun.
3. Depending on the size and shape of the object you want to glue, apply the glue in stripes or drops.
You only need to apply the glue to one of the two surfaces.
4. If you are not satisfied with the position after placing the object, you still have 10 minutes to make changes.
Press firmly once you are satisfied with the position of the object to ensure good adhesion.
5. You can easily wipe off excess glue with a wet sponge.
6. Let the object rest at a temperature between +5°C and +40°C (up to 48 hours for heavy objects) so that the bond can reach its final strength.
