• The A777 heavy duty spiral drill bit with cylindrical shank.
• This drill is intended for more difficult machining materials, especially titanium (alloys).
• The drill has a strong 135° tip angle and is often used in Aerospace production.
• The A777 can be used both in hand-held drills and mechanically.
• Unique to this drill bit is the high percentage of cobalt in the high-speed steel (HSS).
• Similar drills usually use 5% cobalt, but the Dormer A777 features no less than 8% cobalt.
• This makes the drill more resistant to heat generation.
• Please note: this is not a specific drill bit for stainless steel for which it is better to choose the A108 or A147.
