Scotch® Performance Masking Tape 244 has a smooth yellow paper backing and a thick synthetic adhesive layer of 0.085 mm. In particular, this tape is UV and water resistant, and has good temperature resistance (100 °C).

This tape can be used for a wide range of masking applications, especially those requiring UV resistance and clean removal. The tape also has an optimum temperature resistance of 100 °C for 30 minutes (e.g. for the marine market)
