The Tirope winch, a compact pulling and hoisting device, is extremely easy to set up and use. It serves various applications, such as lifting a user during a rescue operation or hoisting equipment.

This winch stands out because it can efficiently tow a live rope, specially designed to meet the needs of rescue professionals. Its user-friendliness enables evacuation of a user or lifting a load in emergency situations where conventional lifting equipment is unavailable or unusable.

By simply moving the lever back and forth, two guides with self-tensioning jaws alternately block the braided rope, raising the load.

The Tirope is designed for the 12.5 mm diameter Tractel Tirope braided rope with a length of 50 m and a maximum lifting capacity of 120 kg. This braided rope offers resistance and ease of use similar to steel, as well as excellent resistance to overheating, UV radiation and abrasion.
