3M Flap Disc 566A is a versatile disc for metal fabrication applications where greater durability is needed, for medium-pressure grinding, for removing small welds and for finishing and preparing a surface to be machined. When used on the right angle grinder, this disc is an easy alternative (one step) to bonded discs and fibre discs.

3M flap discs 566A have a self-sharpening alumina-zirconia abrasive mineral, for longer life and more powerful cutting action than aluminium oxide-based abrasives. You can attach our 566A discs to an angle grinder for one-step grinding and blending. The sturdy Y-weight polyester backing provides flexibility and ensures fast cutting action when grinding and finishing under medium to high pressure.
