DYNAPLUS WOOD CONSTRUCTION SCREW AR-BRONZE TK + CUTTING POINT TX-40 8.0X140/70
Characteristics:
The bronze-coloured Dynaplus wood construction screws with Anti-Rust coating are made of hardened carbon steel and specially developed for joining wooden beams in the direct outdoor atmosphere.
Think, for example, of verandas, (terrace) canopies and other load-bearing timber structures.
Thanks to the large TX drive, you have optimum power transfer from the (impact) screwdriver to the screw and can easily handle these screws.
The wood construction screw is a perfect alternative to the 'old-fashioned' wood threaded bolt.
Timber construction screws are many times stronger and have a much higher pull-out value.
Thanks to the large load-bearing surface and clamping range resulting from the large Counter head (Ø 14 mm for 6.0 mm screws / Ø 21 mm for 8.0 mm screws), the screws are heavier to load, meaning that fewer fastening points are needed in a timber construction.
From 18 mm, these long screws are equipped with a split thread that enhances the pull effect at wood-to-wood joints.
The 'wokkel' pre-drills the screw hole slightly wider, improving the attraction of the second piece of wood and minimising the risk of splitting.
The screws are made of hardened carbon steel and are super strong.
For making safe building structures.
The coated screws are highly corrosion-resistant and have the very highest corrosivity class; C4.
The AR-coating is composed of three thin layers of organic coating on top of the electrolytic zinc layer which ensures very good adhesion.
The excellent chemical and acid resistance makes these screws suitable for use in wood species with high tannic acid content, such as Red Cedar, Douglas fir and oak.
Thanks to the large clamping range of the Counter head, you can also use these screws for mounting soft board materials such as insulation material or wood wool cement boards.
