The 3M SecureFit X5500 series safety helmet provides safe, comfortable and adjustable head protection for employees in a variety of situations. Our helmets have a 4-point interior with a smooth-running ratchet closure and they use the exclusive 3M Pressure Diffusion Technology. X5500 series safety helmets have 3M UVicator sensors, which indicate harmful exposure levels of ultraviolet (UV) light. They comply with EN397 standard for general industrial use and are available in various colours with or without ventilation slots.

Inspired by modern climbing helmets, our safety helmets protect against small falling objects. They have a front/rear and height adjustment on the head and the 4-point interior with smoothly rotating ratchet closure allows you to easily open and close the headband if necessary. The insert uses the exclusive, patented 3M Pressure Diffusion Technology, which not only ensures a secure fit, but also helps improve comfort by exerting up to 20% less pressure on the forehead than the insert of conventional 3M helmets. The rimless design gives you a clear upward view, helping you stay aware of your surroundings and avoid hazards. X5500 series helmets have the unique 3M UVicator sensor, which changes from red to white once exposed to harmful levels of ultraviolet (UV) light. As outdoor helmets can become brittle from UV radiation and therefore lose their level of protection, the colour-changing sensor indicates when it is time to replace the helmet. Accessory slots and clips are designed to combine with various face shields, ear muffs and other 3M accessories, and an optional chin strap can be added. These helmets are available in various colours in ventilated and unventilated versions. Meets EN397 standard for general industrial use.
