As a precaution, FACOM is recalling the items below due to potential safety issues.

- Description of the incident
- What were the consequences of the incident: injury.
- Please specify the injury suffered by the person: cut.
- Detailed description of the incident: FACOM is aware of two reported cases of injury involving the affected products in the EEA, both involving professional users. The users suffered cuts to their hands.
- Risk assessment by the notifier
- Description: FACOM has determined that it is possible that the blades may not be locked in place when fully extended for use. The blade may therefore fold back into the housing without pressing the locking button if pressure is applied to the rear of the knife blade. If the knife folds unexpectedly, this may create a risk of laceration for end users.

- Additional information and consumer warning information as referred to in Article 9(9) of the GPSR (see the user manual for detailed guidance): FACOM is working with its distributors to isolate the affected stock and contact end users who received affected products in order to make them aware of this issue. End users are advised to stop using the affected products immediately and contact FACOM to arrange the return and replacement of their affected products. FACOM is also providing distributors with a notice that can be displayed to further inform end users of this issue and provide details on how to arrange a replacement.
Recall procedure
- Locate your purchase invoice or receipt.
- Start your return request via the chat/contact form
- Once the return has been received, FACOM’s technical department will replace the defective item free of charge. This free intervention applies only to the item concerned by the recall.
- We will send a new replacement item.
