OK 46.16 is a universal rutile-cellulose welding electrode for welding unalloyed steels in all welding positions. Diameters up to and including 3.2 mm can also be welded in the vertical down position. The electrode is particularly suitable for poorly fitting joints and tack welds, and produces a smooth, stable arc with a smooth weld appearance and easily removable slag.
