- Manufactured between 01.01.2024 and 15.06.2025 with production codes 2024 01 to 2025 24. The model number and date code may be found on the underside of the battery.
- Description of the incident
- What were the consequences of the incident: no injury.
- Detailed description of the incident: DEWALT is aware of three reported cases of overheating involving an affected product in the EEA, none of which resulted in injury.

- Additional information and consumer warning information as referred to in Article 9(9) of the GPSR (see the user manual for detailed guidance): DEWALT is working with its distributors to isolate affected stock and contact end users who received affected products in order to inform them of this issue and arrange a replacement battery. End users are advised to stop using the affected products immediately and not to charge or dispose of them. DEWALT is also providing distributors with a notice that can be displayed to further inform end users of this issue and provide details on how to arrange a replacement.
Recall procedure
- Locate your purchase invoice or receipt.
- Start your return request via the chat/contact form
- Once the return has been received, DEWALT’s technical department will replace the defective part free of charge. This free intervention applies only to the item concerned by the recall.
- We will send a new replacement item.
