Product description:

• Oil seal in the standard version according to DIN 3760 with an elastomer outer jacket and a metal reinforcement ring as well as a spring-supported sealing lip.
• The standard type with a dust lip (WAS) on the underside is available as an option
• Standard material: NBR 70
• Colour: black
• Spring: non-alloy steel to DIN EN 10270-1
• Reinforcement ring: non-alloy steel to DIN EN 10139

Application:

• Sealing of rotating machine parts, e.g. shafts and hubs

Function:

• The WA is a single-acting oil seal for rotating shafts
• The elastomer outer jacket enables good static sealing, offers good compensation of expansion, e.g. in light metal housings, better sealing at relatively large roughness and secure sealing at split housings
• Good static sealing in liquid or gaseous media is guaranteed

Media:

• Good chemical resistance to many mineral oils and greases
• Please also note our table of medium resistance

Operating parameters:

• Pressure (MPa/bar): = 0.05/0.5
• Temperature (°C): -40 to +100
• Rotation speed (m/s): =12

Mounting:

• Suitable auxiliary tools should be used for assembly
• It is recommended to form the installation space so that the oil seal in the housing is supported axially

• Other dimensions and other types such as dust lip, ribs on the sealing lip, other steel quality of the spring or reinforcement ring can be manufactured as well as all possible special types
• Minimum order quantities may be required for non-standard dimensions
